 Accountability:  Reports to the Director of the Development 
 Position Description:  Denver Academy (DA) seeks a highly organized and mission-driven Donor Relations &#38; Campaign Associate to strengthen donor engagement and support the successful implementation of the school&#8217;s comprehensive fundraising campaign. In 2025, Denver Academy began the early stages of planning and preparation for the  Raise the Roof, Lift the Legacy  campaign, the largest in the school&#39;s history - a $16M+ initiative funding an endowment for faculty and staff salaries and the design and construction of a new Middle School.&#xa0; 
 The Donor Relations &#38; Campaign Associate will play a critical role in advancing this effort by coordinating campaign operations, supporting donor cultivation and stewardship, and ensuring timely follow through on all campaign activities. Working closely with the Head of School, Director of Development, Associate Director of Development, and Campaign Cabinet, this position helps maintain campaign momentum, visibility, and strategic progress. The role also supports general development activities throughout the year, including fundraising, stewardship, and alumni engagement events. 
 Key Responsibilities: 
 Donor Cultivation, Stewardship &#38; Campaign Logistics 
 
 Coordinate donor cultivation and stewardship activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and briefing internal team members 
 Plan and implement campaign cultivation and stewardship events 
 Conduct prospect research using a data-informed approach (giving history, philanthropic interests, capacity indicators) 
 Maintain accurate and detailed donor and prospect information in Raiser&#8217;s Edge 
 Record and track all opportunities, meetings, actions, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion 
 Maintain the comprehensive campaign timeline and activity report; recommend adjustments to the fundraising plan as needed 
 Manage the portfolio of Legacy Society members including individual donor cultivation meetings, stewardship activities, and special events 
 
 Volunteer &#38; Leadership Support 
 
 Develop agendas and prepare materials for weekly internal campaign strategy meetings in partnership with Director of Development 
 Lead and facilitate weekly campaign strategy meetings 
 Coordinate Campaign Cabinet meetings and develop all supporting materials 
 Ensure timely follow up from campaign leadership and volunteers to advance solicitation and stewardship activities 
 Track and maintain calendars and schedules for campaign volunteer fundraising activity 
 
 Communications &#38; Materials 
 
 Manage content development for campaign communications in collaboration with staff and external partners 
 Create, customize, and organize campaign materials, including donor proposals, briefing documents, and ask packets 
 Serve as a primary point of contact for donor and staff questions related to the campaign 
 
 Gift Reporting &#38; Acknowledgment 
 
 Support gift processing, including hard-copy tracking and coordination with the Database Manager 
 Update campaign dashboards, progress reports, and internal tracking documents 
 Manage naming opportunity records and donor recognition logistics

 What You Will Do: 
 Program Management 
 
 Oversee the full athletic program under the direction of the Assistant Head of School. 
 Administer all VMS athletic policies as well as Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) rules and bylaws. 
 Ensure student-athlete eligibility and compliance with participation requirements. 
 Develop and manage interscholastic schedules, including transportation and event logistics. 
 Coordinate and supervise all home athletic contests, ensuring proper administrative presence and game management. 
 Serve as tournament manager for assigned league and playoff events. 
 Promote athletics internally and externally using approved VMS channels. 
 Manage athletic budgets, purchasing, and facility usage in collaboration with AHOS and CFO. 
 Maintain a strong, welcoming program culture centered on sportsmanship. 
 Act as liaison with CHSAA, league ADs, district administration, and community partners. 
 Update and maintain the athletics handbook 
 Take an active role in the behavior management of students, particularly those who are members of athletic teams.

 Personnel Supervision 
 
 Serve as the Department Chair for the Physical Education department composed of three other members.&#xa0; 
 Recruit, hire, and supervise all coaches; conduct evaluations and support staff development.

 Manage conflicts and personnel concerns in collaboration with site leadership.
