About Rumsey Hall: Rumsey Hall School is a co-educational junior boarding and day school for students in Pre-K through Grade 9. Position Overview: Rumsey Hall seeks an Admissions Coordinator to support all aspects of the admissions and enrollment process. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management, the Coordinator is responsible for managing data systems, coordinating campus visits and events, assisting with marketing initiatives, and maintaining communication with prospective families. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and committed to providing an exceptional admissions experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families.
Manage admissions databases and online platforms (e.g., Blackbaud, SAO).
Coordinate campus tours, visits, and admissions events.
Assist with application processing and admissions communications.
Support marketing efforts and maintain relationships with feeder schools and consultants.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and the Communications and Business Offices.
Contribute to admissions data tracking and reporting.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in admissions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Admissions or related experience, preferably in an independent school setting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and marketing tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
Enthusiasm for working with students and families.
Rumsey Hall School is an independent co-ed junior boarding school (Grades 5-9) and day school (Grades PK-9), located in Washington, CT. The School’s population is currently comprised of 335 students from 26 local communities, 12 states, and 12 countries. There are 78 full time faculty and staff members.
