DESCRIPTION: St. Paul’s School seeks a mathematics teacher to begin duties in late August 2026. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics and prior high school teaching experience. We seek candidates who can teach the range of college preparatory high school math, have experience using a variety of technological resources to enhance student learning, and are enthusiastic about growing professionally in terms of pedagogy and scholarship.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility will be to teach four courses in mathematics. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment working with the other teachers and with the broader faculty in advancing the mission of the School with a commitment to teaching and learning in a holistic educational environment. In addition to classroom teaching responsibilities, faculty at St. Paul’s School are responsible for a variety of activities typical to the boarding school environment, including advising, dormitory association, coaching, committee work, and other duties. As with all positions, St. Paul’s Schools seeks educators who will embrace the fully residential living experience and have a demonstrated gift for engaging a diverse student body and strengthening the St. Paul’s School inclusive community.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics; Master’s Degree preferred
Experience: 3-5 years of teaching mathematics at the secondary level
