								<description>SOUTH WALES, New York,  The Gow School, a nationally recognized leader in educating students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences, seeks a dynamic Director of Marketing and Communications to lead and elevate the school&#8217;s storytelling, brand, and strategic communications efforts. 
 Founded in 1926, Gow is a college-preparatory boarding and day school serving students in grades 5&#8211;12 and postgraduate learners. Through small classes, expert faculty, and a deeply supportive community, Gow helps students build confidence, independence, and lifelong success. 
 Reporting to the Head of School and serving on the senior leadership team, the Director will oversee all aspects of marketing and communications, including: 
 
 Brand strategy and storytelling 
 Enrollment marketing and outreach 
 Website, social media, and digital campaigns 
 Publications and community communications 
 Media relations and thought leadership 
 
 The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative strategist, and collaborative leader with experience in marketing and communications, preferably in education or another mission-driven organization. Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and project management is essential.

 &#xa0; Qualifications Include: 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree required; advanced degree a plus 
 Significant marketing/communications experience, especially in an educational or mission-driven organization 
 Sales or enrollment-related experience in a nonprofit or corporate setting a plus 
 Entrepreneurial mindset 
 Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills 
 Experience with digital marketing and social media 
 Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, and/or InDesign preferred 
 Commitment to serving students who learn differently

								<description>New York,  The Associate Director of Admissions plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school by supporting the Director of Enrollment Management in all aspects of admissions, including marketing, recruitment, and enrollment.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
 
 Manages the enrollment process from initial inquiry to final enrollment to ensure a seamless experience for prospective students. 
 Communicates effectively with prospective students and referral sources. 
 Develops and implements recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants. 
 Represents the School both on campus and off in the role of an Admissions Officer. 
 Collaborates with academic departments to understand program offerings and aligns recruitment efforts accordingly. 
 Participates in the Trusted Partner program by visiting and communicating with recruitment partners. 
 Conducts tours and open houses at the Upper and Lower School campuses. 
 Educates prospective students and their families about admission requirements, financial aid options, and academic programs. 
 Travels to recruit students internationally and domestically. 
 Utilizes Blackbaud software for managing admissions data and reporting. 
 Maintains relationships with schools, community colleges, and other educational institutions to enhance outreach efforts. 
 Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management. 
 
 Work Environment 
 
 Based in a professional office; requires routine use of computers, phones, and filing systems. 
 Ability to move between physical spaces and attend off-site meetings. 
 Frequent travel required; must also be available for evening and weekend shifts. 
 
 &#xa0; Qualifications: 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in marketing, information technology or systems, education, or another appropriate field. 
 A minimum of three to five years of experience in education recruitment or related fields is required. 
 One to three years of experience in an independent boarding school, higher education admissions setting, or related sales and marketing experience is preferred. 
 Must have prior experience in academic advising with a focus on student engagement. 
 Must have prior experience working directly with students from various backgrounds to support their educational goals. 
 Familiarity with Blackbaud, Financial Edge, or similar student information systems is preferred. 
 
 Skills/Knowledge/Abilities 
 
 Outstanding technical skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Workspace, and databases is required. 
 Excellent public speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively, are required. 
 Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. 
 Exceptional oral communication, written communication, and presentation skills. 
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and frequent deadlines. 
 Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Russian, German, or Portuguese is preferred. 
 Ability to read, analyze, develop, and interpret documents in English.
