Job Overview:
We're searching for an organized and detail-oriented Advancement & Data Coordinator to join our team as a 6-month leave replacement. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our events while also maintaining and analyzing vital school data, including enrollment trends and student trajectory trends.
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree and experience working with databases and analyzing data. If you're a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a commitment to DEI initiatives, we encourage you to apply and help us advance our school's mission.
Essential Functions:
Support all aspects of advancement, including but not limited to the annual fund, capital campaign, parents’ association and alumni program
Support entering all donations and producing acknowledgement letters for all constituencies and funds
Assist with all Advancement events, including creating and managing event registration forms, set up, attending and post-event activities.
Manage all acknowledgement communications, including utilizing Veracross to streamline the process, crafting all acknowledgement letters and emails, and seeking opportunities to improve the process and personalize correspondence to major donors
Support to engage various constituencies within the community, including parents, alumni, past parents, grandparents and Board of Trustees
Support the members of the Advancement Team with additional tasks as needed
Collect, organize and clean student enrollment data spanning the last 15 years from various sources, including written records, the school database, and Excel sheets.
Analyze enrollment data, focusing on entry grades and student trajectory to identify overall trends and assess the ratio of applicants to acceptances at each grade level.
Update, clean and maintain the school's alumni databases
Generate a comprehensive list of referring professionals, such as psychologists, consultants, and doctors.
Attend full faculty and staff meetings.
Willing to commit to anti-bias and anti-racism work and to promoting inclusion, belonging and equity through their work in the classroom and school community.
Ensure a commitment to the school’s DEI mission and goals by participating in continuous professional development for learning differences, anti-racism and anti-bias of all kinds.
