Founded in 1810, The Lawrenceville School, one of the country’s premier independent schools, is located in central New Jersey, five miles south of Princeton, 55 miles south of New York City, and 40 miles north of Philadelphia. Lawrenceville attracts outstanding students in grades 9-12, plus postgraduate students. The School’s 844 students hail from 39 states and 32 countries, with 70 percent boarding and 30 percent day students. Thirty-two percent of students receive $16.9 million in need-based financial aid grants, and 62 percent are students of color. Lawrenceville has approximately 350 full-time employees, including 110 full-time teaching faculty.
