 The assistant teacher plays a critical role in upholding the culture and educational program at High Meadow School.  Position Overview 
 The Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks to support the safe, efficient, and attractive operation of school facilities. This role is responsible for minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanical, and electrical repairs; supports daily operations and campus events; and maintains interior and exterior areas of campus facilities, including Boarding &#38; Convent living areas, kitchens, classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, outdoor common areas, athletic areas, and the swimming pool. Participation in a facilities team on-call rotation is required to respond to evening, weekend, holiday, and emergency needs. 
 &#xa0; 
 
 Key Responsibilities 
 Facilities, Mechanical &#38; Building Systems 
 
 Inspect, monitor, and perform minor repairs on building systems including boilers, radiators, gas wall heaters, forced-air heating systems, HVAC systems, AC window units, exhaust fans, refrigeration units, domestic hot water boilers, SAC pumping systems, and elevators 
 Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, fire protection equipment, fire and safety alarms, and emergency eyewash and shower stations 
 Conduct routine campus walkthroughs and building inspections 
 
 Electrical &#38; Plumbing 
 
 Perform electrical repairs including replacing switches, outlets, plate covers, fuses, light fixtures, ceiling fans, transformers, and restoring or repairing existing fixtures 
 Perform plumbing repairs including clogged toilets, sinks, showers, drains, faucet repairs and replacements, pipe repairs, irrigation pressure lines, exterior drainage, circulating pumps, tile repairs, and showerhead replacements 
 
 Carpentry, Structural &#38; General Repairs 
 
 Perform carpentry and building repairs including wood repairs and refinishing, metal and steel repairs, welding, wrought iron repairs, wall and ceiling repairs, painting, roof, tile, and floor repairs 
 Repair doors, locks, hinges, knobs, athletic equipment, and campus fixtures 
 Perform pressure washing, exterior window cleaning, graffiti removal, and vandalism repairs 
 Assist with telephone and camera cable repairs 
 
 Pool, Grounds &#38; Campus Support 
 
 Maintain pool water quality, temperature, filtration systems, and pool deck areas 
 Install and remove pool lane lines, starting blocks, fences, soccer goals, outdoor bleachers, and campus umbrellas 
 Support cleaning of restrooms, loading docks, carports, dumpster areas, and exterior areas as needed 
 
 Operations &#38; Support 
 
 Respond to work orders, emergencies, and 24-hour on-call assignments as required on a rotating basis 
 Support daily event set-ups, breakdowns, furniture moves, and department deliveries 
 Coordinate vehicle fleet service requests 
 Complete documentation and update work order systems 
 Perform special projects as assigned 
 
 
 
 Qualifications 
 
 High school diploma or GED required; minimum of five (5) years of related facilities maintenance experience and/or training 
 Demonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance 
 Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals 
 Ability to complete routine reports and documentation 
 Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations 
 Valid California driver&#8217;s license, reliable transportation, and an insurable driving record 
 Ability to work independently, follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively as part of a team 
 Ability to comply with state, parish, and federal regulations 
 Must be in good health and able to pass a physical examination

 Position Description 
 The Administrative Assistant to the Business Office and Physical Plant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to both departments. This position plays a vital role in maintaining effective communication, organization, and coordination between financial operations and facilities management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing diverse tasks that support the organization&#8217;s fiscal and physical infrastructure.

 Responsibilities 
 Business Office Support 
 
 Provide administrative and clerical support to the Business Office, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation. 
 Greet and check in incoming visitors and vendors in a professional and courteous manner. 
 Assist with invoice processing, purchase orders, and financial documentation. 
 Support budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and maintenance of financial records. 
 Prepare and format reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as directed by the CFO or Director of Physical Plant. 
 
 Physical Plant Support 
 
 Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Physical Plant and the facilities team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining project files. 
 Track and document maintenance work orders, service requests, and preventive maintenance schedules. 
 Maintain records related to safety inspections, equipment service logs, and compliance documentation. 
 Work with facility work order software modules, Facilities Services, Preventive Maintenance Direct, and SchoolDude. 
 Assist with procurement of maintenance supplies, materials, and equipment. 
 Coordinate travel arrangements for Physical Plant staff and contractors as needed for training, site visits, or vendor meetings. 
 Support communication and documentation related to ongoing projects and capital improvements.&#xa0; 
 Assist with tracking Physical Plant budget, ensuring accuracy, including preparation of department purchase orders for approval 
 
 Shared Responsibilities 
 
 Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the Business Office, Physical Plant, and other departments to support seamless operations and organizational efficiency. 
 Serve as point of contact for day-to-day office needs, including maintenance of copier, mail, supplies, equipment, invoices, purchase orders, and the organization, and maintenance of filing systems, both paper and electronic. 
 Manage shared calendars, coordinate meetings, and prepare related materials or presentations. 
 Handle correspondence, take meeting minutes, and track follow-up actions. 
 Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. 
 Provide logistical support for staff or board meetings, departmental events, and special projects. 
 Manage travel coordination across departments&#8212;researching options, booking travel, and preparing detailed itineraries. 
 Contribute to process improvement by streamlining administrative systems and supporting cross-departmental efficiency. 
 Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support organizational needs. 
 
 High school graduate; post-secondary degree preferred. 
 Minimum of 3&#8211;5 years of administrative experience, preferably in finance, operations, or facilities management. 
 Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. 
 Exemplary record of delivering superior customer service by fostering trust, resolving issues efficiently, and setting a high standard of professionalism and responsiveness across all interactions. 
 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); experience with accounting or facilities software a plus. 
 Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

 The Van Driver safely  operates  a school van on designated routes to transport students/passengers to and from school sites, designated services and  maintains  the school van in a clean and orderly condition. The Van Driver transports a group of students from a designated location in San Francisco to and from our campus in Larkspur each day. 
 The Van Driver  is responsible for  ensuring the safety of all passengers and ensuring the van  is in safe operating condition at all times .  
 This position requires availability for working both a morning and afternoon  route. Morning Route: 7:00-8:30am Afternoon Route: 3:00-4:30pm

 Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
 Drives a school van safely on predetermined routes transporting students to and from schools or other authorized assignments  
 Conducts safety and operational inspection of assigned van daily and  submits  written reports  
 Maintains order and proper discipline of students/passengers; resolves disputes; documents and reports disciplinary cases  
 Reports any needed mechanical repairs to assigned van  
 May be  required  to fuel vans  
 Maintains the cleanliness of the van including exterior/interior of school van  
 Maintains a variety of records and reports, including but not limited to mileage, routing, maintenance, time schedules, load sheets, daily inspection reports, and  time cards   
 Attends mandatory meetings,  programs  and in-service training  
 Notifies the office of delays or changes that occur in scheduled route  
 Administers First Aid in emergencies
