We seek a dynamic Junior Kindergarten Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. We require a BS/BA, with a Master’s Degree preferred, and five or more years’ experience in early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have a deep respect for the competence of young children, a joyful attitude and approach towards teaching, a team orientation, strong communication skills, and the desire to work collaboratively. This position requires an understanding of developmentally appropriate teaching practices and how they are implemented in the classroom through play-based learning experiences. Knowledge of UFLI Foundations and the Science of Reading is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential. An interest in coaching and leading extracurricular activities or sports is also a plus.
