Oak Meadow School is looking for a dynamic, innovative teacher to join the language faculty at Oak Meadow High School. We are in the midst of an exciting endeavor to reimagine our educational approach which pushes the envelope to connect students to important questions about meaning and purpose and the social and cultural issues of our time. Our rigorous private independent distance learning school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Student engagement is designed in the spirit of the Harkness table, with the goal of challenging students to be engaged citizens of the world. We expect our students to leave Oak Meadow as free thinkers who are empowered to critically reflect on their world, a mindset that allows them to be active decision makers who help shape their community.
We are looking for a part-time teacher to start late Spring early Summer .

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years classroom teaching experience
- Experience working with gifted, self-motivated students
- Familiarity and/or experience with project based learning
- French language fluency
Additional Qualities
- Experience in Francophone countries
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Knowledge or willingness to learn and use online, collaborative tools to facilitate student engagement
- Experience with the Google platform
- Quick learner
- Willingness to collaborate on interdisciplinary projects
