We invite you to join our team in making this mission a reality for our students as a full-time School Counselor in the Middle School, for the 2026-27 school year. Successful candidates should possess a Master’s level mental health clinician experience, with experience working with children and/or adolescent populations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience.
Reporting to the Director of Counseling, the Middle School counselor will:
- Meet the emotional and physical needs of a diverse student and parent body;
- Maximize the quantity and quality of student school time by reducing the incident of health problems which impair or prevent learning;
- Facilitate the highest degree of independent functioning possible for the students we serve;
- Have a student caseload;
- Work with faculty, staff, and families around student mental health concerns;
- Respond to acute mental health crises during the school day;
- Participate as an integral part of a team responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating school suicide prevention training;
- Collaborate with mental health clinicians working with our students;
- Work closely with Division Leadership and Learning Support in a holistic approach to student care.

The position is salaried (exempt) with a salary range of $85,000-$100,000, depending on relative experience. Successful candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check as a contingency of employment. Initial review of applicant materials will begin on March 20th, 2026.
