The School Nurse plays a critical role in promoting the health and wellness of students and fostering a safe, inclusive school environment. As a key member of the Student Support Team, the nurse delivers direct healthcare services, assesses and addresses medical needs, administers medications, and collaborates closely with families, school personnel, and external healthcare providers. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, student-centered professional who advances well-being through proactive health education and responsive care for students from Toddler through Grade 12.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be renewed every two years).
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (renewed every two years).
Membership in the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) required.
Preferred: Experience in pediatric, school, or emergency response nursing.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently in high-stress situations.
Warm, approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Meticulous organizational and record-keeping skills.
