Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer (AT) to support the health and performance of our student-athletes. The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. This individual will work closely with coaches, healthcare providers, and families to ensure athletes are physically prepared and medically cleared to participate safely. In addition to managing injury care and providing event coverage, the Athletic Trainer may also assist with overall athletic department operations. This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and a commitment to student well-being.
For qualified candidates looking to seek on-campus living, the position may include the opportunity to serve as a Residential Assistant within our boarding community, providing a unique chance to engage with students outside of athletic events and further contribute to the overall campus environment.
Athletic Trainer Responsibilities:

Provide on-site care, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries.

Attend and provide care during practices, games, and tournaments, including travel for select events.

Maintain accurate medical records and emergency action plans for all student-athletes.

Communicate effectively with coaches, athletes, and families regarding injury status and recovery progress.

Coordinate with external healthcare providers (e.g., physicians, physical therapists) as needed for specialized care.

Monitor and manage athletic training supplies, equipment, and ensure their readiness for use.

Educate athletes and staff on sports wellness, hydration, injury prevention, and recovery best practices to promote long-term health and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required, Master's preferred.
- NATA and MA license required, or eligible for licensure in the State of Massachusetts.
- 1-3 years experience preferred
- Salary: Dependent on experience and background
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Experience in a school, collegiate, or club athletic environment preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
