								<description>WEST PALM BEACH, Florida,  The Assistant Director of Philanthropy for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement is an integral member of the Philanthropy team, reporting to the Director of Philanthropy. The Assistant Director shapes and executes fiscal year Annual Fund strategy and plans, with a focus on broad-based appeals and alumni participation. 
 
 
 &#xa0; 
 
 
 
 Collaborates with the Director of Philanthropy to craft and execute strategies to increase the level of unrestricted gifts among PBDA alumni and friends, and overall alumni participation to PBDA. This includes making a strong case for support, tracking progress of donor giving habits, and identifying trends to enhance the annual giving solicitation program.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Generates and analyzes giving and demographic data to inform strategies for increasing annual giving overall. Plans and implements direct mail and broadcast email appeals, in coordination with the Director Philanthropy. This includes educating donors on the need for unrestricted support amid an active campaign. 
 
 
 
 
 Manages data for appeals; consults with the Development Database Manager on segmentation on personalized outreach; analysis; and corrections based on findings.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Facilitates the copy and images for appeals under the supervision of the Director of Philanthropy.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Works with internal communications support, external vendors, including graphic &#xa0;design (as needed) and print house, for production of direct mail appeals and &#xa0;annual giving marketing materials. 
 
 
 
 
 Works to systematically improve the integrity of the database developing a proficiency with reporting: &#8211; tracking responses, biographical changes, prospect research updates, affinity giving. 
 
 
 Maintains familiarity with best practices surrounding annual fund and alumni communication.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Develops relationships over time with a portfolio of alumni who are, or have the potential, to be $1K+ annual fund donors and/or volunteer leaders.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Identifies opportunities and collaborates on projects with other PBDA departments (Enrollment Management, Events, and Communications) in support of alumni and annual giving programming and outreach.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Maintains familiarity with best practices surrounding annual fund and alumni communication.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Works in conjunction with Event Coordinator to plan and execute all annual events involving alumni, as well as those that will raise funds centered around stewardship of grandparents, parents and families.

 Alumni Engagement and Volunteer Management 
 
 
 
 Collaborates with the Director of Philanthropy by serving as a liaison to the Alumni, creating an Alumni Ambassadors program, including cultivating future members. This will also include meeting follow-up actions and supporting on-campus and regional alumni events, such as Field Day, Young Alumni Reunion, and Summer Series Alumni events.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Conducts visits with alumni to deepen their engagement with PBDA, including solicitation of annual gifts. Writes and records contact notes in Raiser&#8217;s Edge development database.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Coordinates with the Director of Philanthropy and current alumni volunteers to identify potential alumni volunteers.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Identifies and recruits alumni/parent volunteers to host and participate in events aimed at (re)connecting alumni to PBDA.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Attends campus events and gets to better know the mission and vision of PBDA to better inform outreach.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Works to create a more robust storytelling and pipeline for The Bridge Magazine Alumni section and Class Notes.&#xa0; 
 
 
 Utilizes the Raiser&#8217;s Edge, Almabase, and AlumniFinder systems to broaden constituent base.&#xa0;

 Stewardship and Events Coordinator: 
 Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented  Stewardship and Events Coordinator  to join our Advancement team. This full-time, benefits-eligible position plays a vital role in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events that support the school&#39;s mission and strengthen engagement with parents, faculty, and friends of Berkeley. The Coordinator is responsible for event logistics, budget oversight, communications, and post-event follow-up, and reports directly to the Associate Director of Institutional Advancement.  Primary Responsibilities 
 Event Planning and Execution 
 
 Serve as the lead planner and primary point of contact for all Advancement events, including but not limited to:

 Faculty/Staff functions

 Monitor attendee engagement post-event, recommend improvements, and facilitate feedback sessions. 
 
 Stewardship and Administrative Support 
 
 Create and manage invitation and RSVP lists using Raiser&#8217;s Edge.

 Support the work of the annual giving programs 
 Support stewardship plans for major gift and annual giving societies through tailored recognition, communications, and events.

 Qualifications &#38; Competencies 
 Required: 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s Degree 
 Minimum of three years of experience in special event planning; preference for experience with high-profile events in a corporate, school, or university setting
