Springdale Preparatory School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Varsity Girls Head Soccer Coach to lead an integral first season for our new girls soccer program. As the Head Coach, you will have the opportunity to shape the identity of the team and instill a love for soccer among the players. The coach’s leadership will be key in fostering a positive team culture and developing players' skills both on and off the field.
Coaching responsibilities will include implementing technical drills, tactical sessions, small-sided games, and fitness work tailored to enhance player development. As players progress, the training intensity and complexity will increase to challenge and elevate their skills. This position is dedicated to providing personalized instruction and feedback to each player, fostering individual growth and team cohesion. Additionally, the Head Coach will be instrumental in developing connections with college coaches to showcase our players' talents. This role presents a rewarding opportunity to positively impact young female athletes' lives and guide them towards success both on and off the field.
This position may evolve into a full-time role based on additional academic or residential life needs within the school.

The ideal candidate will possess education and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Expansive knowledge of the sport, including game/practice/training strategies and positional coaching – in season and out
- Have successful experience coaching high school, club level, or college level soccer
- Cultivate/extend relationships in community to impact enrollment and use program to drive admissions and interest in school
- Ability to attain CPR/First Aid Certification upon hire (offered by school)
- Knowledge of and/or experience with athletic programs
- Ability to oversee activities related to the management of athletic functions
- Experience in managing and resolving conflict
- Understanding of the critical development issues facing adolescents
- Detail-oriented, with the capacity to effectively and efficiently manage numerous small and large tasks
- Working knowledge of technology systems, including networks and hardware management
- Enjoy working in a cooperative, team-oriented environment with adults and students
- Culturally competent, responsive, and sensitive to diverse populations
- Hold a valid driver’s license and ability to meet school driving requirements
- Must be available to provide support for off-hours, weekends, and/or holidays as required
This is a flexible position that may be full- or part-time based on the applicant's education and experience and school needs. Campus housing is available.
