Princeton Day School is seeking Part-time Assistants for the Extended Day Program.
The position’s primary responsibilities include:
- ensure a safe and orderly environment for our after-school care students,
- assist the Director/Supervisor in the implementation of the after-school care programs including effective management of large groups, small groups and individual children both indoors and outdoors,
- assist children with homework, and
- manage child pick up including answering the after-school cell phone.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, understand and carry out oral and written directions clearly and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Working days/hours are as follows from September through June:
- Monday from Friday from 3:00-6:00pm
- Experience and/or interest in working with children ages 4-11 and/or 10-14 years.
Compensation Range: $18.00 an hour (this role is not eligible for benefits)
