About Springer
Springer School and Center is a caring community supporting students diagnosed with learning disabilities and their families. Springer serves the community through four pillars: Springer Lower School and Middle School (grades 1-8), Springer High School (grades 9-12), Springer Diagnostic Center, and Springer Learning Center. Position Summary
Springer School and Center historically expanded its offerings to the community in 2023. To date the organization had educated students in Lower School and Middle School. In fall 2023 Springer opened a new High School program that is specifically designed for students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADHD and for students who struggle with executive functioning. After an amazingly successful launch, Springer seeks a Head of High School who will continue the success and growth of the program.
Job Goals
Oversee the continued strategic development, expansion, and systems growth for a dynamic high school specifically designed for students with learning disabilities.
Ensure academic, extracurricular, student life, and college and career readiness programming provide students with a high-quality, well-rounded high school experience.
Lead a dedicated faculty and staff by collaboratively developing and refining systems and practices that reinforce a student-centered culture.
Establish and refine systems and structures for day-to-day operations that are aligned with or lead industry best practices.
Continue the trajectory of building the best high school program in the country specifically designed for students diagnosed with learning disabilities.
Fully embrace, promote and exemplify a passion for Springer’s mission and core values.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of executive leadership or school leadership experience.
A thorough understanding of the strengths and needs of students diagnosed with learning disabilities and ADHD, as well as those who struggle with executive functioning.
An unwavering commitment to serving Springer’s students and their families.
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in education, education administration or a similar field.
Experience establishing a new school or expanding an existing school.
Independent school leadership experience.
A valid, active Principal’s license in the State of Ohio.

Terms of Employment: Full Time (5 days per week), 12 months per year
