Purpose: The Episcopal School of Dallas has multiple track & field positions available for the spring of 2026. Looking for energetic coaches with a strong track & field background who want to teach and mentor young athletes and contribute to the growth of the ESD track & field program. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to lead young athletes and demonstrate proper technique for a variety of events. Must attend all practices and competitions and manage aspects of the program assigned by the varsity head coach.
Essential Functions:
- Positively represent The Episcopal School of Dallas, along with appropriate supervision at all times.
- Be on time for all required coaching responsibilities.
- Manage game day logistics- warm-ups, race strategies, approach adjustments, etc.
- Assist with development and implementation of daily practice plans.
- Extended meet responsibilities dependent on schedule.
- Valid Driver’s License, must be able to transport the team to and from meets.
- Encourage and train the participants of the MS track & field program (Grades 7 & 8) - MS.
- Coaching Position only.

- Previous track & field coaching/competition experience preferred
- Knowledge of specific event disciplines (distance for Varsity program) preferred
- Ability to successfully communicate with student-athletes, parents, and members of the ESD athletic department
- Strong leadership and coaching presence
