Job description:
Alcuin School (TAPPS 2A), in North Dallas, is accepting applications for the following golf coaching positions:
This is a part-time, seasonal, and stipend-based position. Pay based on level of experience.
Job Summary:
The Middle School Golf Coach helps to develop student-athletes' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. They are responsible for executing practices, matches/tournaments, and administrative tasks as needed to ensure the success and positive experience of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct practice sessions.
Provide instruction and feedback to student-athletes to improve their skills and performance.
Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.
Help organize and manage equipment, uniforms, and other team resources.
Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes during practices and matches/tournaments.
Attend all practices, matches/tournaments, and team meetings.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff.
Uphold the school's policies, procedures, and athletic code of conduct.
Qualifications:
Previous experience playing or coaching golf.
Strong understanding of golf fundamentals and rules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the athletic department.
Commitment to promoting a positive and respectful team culture.
First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
Must complete a background check and required training
