Job description:

Alcuin School (TAPPS 2A), in North Dallas, is accepting applications for the following golf coaching positions:

• Head Middle School Golf
• Assistant Varsity Golf

 Schedule & Compensation:

• February 9-April 23 (Middle School)
• January 26-April 20 (Asst Varsity)
• Practices – Tues/Thurs, 4:00-6:00pm (Middle School)
• Practices – Mon/Wed, 3:30-6:00pm (Asst Varsity)
• Tournaments - TBD
• This is a part-time, seasonal, and stipend-based position. Pay based on level of experience.

 Job Summary: 

The Middle School Golf Coach helps to develop student-athletes' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. They are responsible for executing practices, matches/tournaments, and administrative tasks as needed to ensure the success and positive experience of the team.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct practice sessions.
• Provide instruction and feedback to student-athletes to improve their skills and performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.
• Help organize and manage equipment, uniforms, and other team resources.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes during practices and matches/tournaments.
• Attend all practices, matches/tournaments, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff.
• Uphold the school's policies, procedures, and athletic code of conduct.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience playing or coaching golf.
• Strong understanding of golf fundamentals and rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the athletic department.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and respectful team culture.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Must complete a background check and required training
