Alexandria Country Day School seeks a third-grade classroom teacher to begin as soon as possible and serve for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience with Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshop, Fundations, and Singapore Math is beneficial. The School seeks growth-minded candidates who are collaborative, creative, innovative, and eager to contribute to a dynamic school community. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and a genuine appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential.
