Xaverian is an independent Catholic school for boys in grades 7-12, sponsored by the Xaverian
Brothers. Located in Westwood, Massachusetts, this college-prep school welcomes students
from approximately 90 communities across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Xaverian was
established in 1963 and presently enrolls over 980 students.
General Expectations: Xaverian is seeking applications for a full-time math teacher. The
applicant should have demonstrated content knowledge and pedagogic skill relative to the
various classes/levels of high school mathematics up to and including advanced calculus
classes. Requirements include a history of collaborating with other educators, as well as the
ability to maintain and adapt existing curricula to meet the ever-changing needs of students.
Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as an
enthusiasm for the school’s mission as a Catholic and Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School.
