Position Overview:
The School Registrar/Front Desk Administrator is a key member of the school's administrative team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities at Tessa International School. This full-time position is often the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Communication:
Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, answering phones, greeting visitors, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Coordinate with parents and guides to provide a welcoming experience during school tours.
Enrollment & Records Management:
Manage enrollment package distribution and collection, including medical forms and compliance checks.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records, including attendance, academic transcripts, and personal information, ensuring compliance with school and state regulations.
Package & Mail Management:
Pick up and distribute packages and mail to teachers, administrators, and the school.
Vacation Care Support:
Provide front desk coverage during school vacation care periods.
Other:
Assist with other operational needs as assigned, ensuring a well-organized school environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience and a taste for working with children
Awareness of the importance of children's safety
International experience and a taste for multicultural environments are a plus
