Princeton Day School is seeking a full-time experienced Groundskeeper who will work on multiple sites throughout the PDS campus and surrounding housing with responsibilities including, but not limited to, cutting lawns and fields, operating equipment, caring for and removal of ornamental plants and trees, sports field painting and care, landscape maintenance, and pool care.
For this position, the ideal candidate is expected to possess:
1-2 years of landscaping/grounds experience required
A valid driver’s license (insurable under the School’s auto policy)
The ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds and carry boxes up stairs
Moderate computer skills
A pesticide applicator's license or able to earn within one year of employment
Experience and comfort with ladder work and aerial lift work
A high school diploma
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail
A high degree of professionalism
Schedule: The Groundskeeper position typically works Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm with some required weekends. This role is also responsible for ice and snow removal on property which will involve off hours work based on weather and the needs of PDS.
Compensation Range: $20.00 an hour / $41,600 a year (this role is eligible for PDS’ full benefits package including 4 weeks paid time off and 15 holidays.)
