The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soccer, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive, competitive environment for our student-athletes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of the Varsity Soccer program, including practice planning, team strategy, game preparation, and in-game coaching. Develop and implement a season plan, including training, skills development, and fitness programs that promote individual and team growth. Provide guidance and mentorship to athletes emphasizing the importance of academics, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages hard work, dedication, and mutual respect among players. Work collaboratively with the athletic director, assistant coaches, and other school staff to ensure the success of the soccer program. Attend all scheduled games, tournaments, and team events. Maintain communication with parents regarding team activities, schedules, and player progress. Ensure adherence to all league, district, and state regulations and safety protocols. Manage team rosters, equipment, and uniforms. Qualifications: Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level. A strong knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and training techniques. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes, creating a positive and competitive team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents. First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). A commitment to fostering a safe and respectful athletic environment for all students. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience playing competitive soccer. Experience managing a team of assistant coaches. Knowledge of high school athletic programs and compliance with state and league regulations.
