Founded in 1916 under the leadership of Reverend Robert Carter Jett, VES is an engaging community that guides students to strive Toward Full Stature in their academic, ethical, spiritual and personal growth. Consistent with Dr. Jett’s vision, VES is committed to meeting students where they are in order to take them where they need to go.
By design, VES is a small school with approximately 250 students, 80 teachers and staff, and a constituency comprised of some 6,000 alumni, parents and friends.
