Position Summary Bancroft School seeks a data-driven detail detail-oriented part-time Database Administrator (approximately 15-20 hours per week). The Database Administrator is a fully integrated member of the Advancement team, reports to the Director of Advancement, and works closely with the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Development for Alumni Engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in the areas of development and fundraising, event coordination and management, alumni relations, and community relations in an independent school environment.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Gift Administration and Database Management:
Primary gift entry specialist, maintaining the database and timely processing of all gifts and pledges
Produce donor receipts and acknowledgement letters
Prepare donor reports as required by the advancement and business offices, including donor lists for the annual report
Respond to routine constituent inquiries
Maintain and update constituent records accurately and promptly
Develop policies and procedures for gift and data management
Maintain accurate files and documentation
Advancement Office and Event Support:
Assist in the execution of Advancement events, including, but not limited to, Homecoming, Reunion, parent events, stewardship events, and alumni events
Create event-related invitation lists and online registration forms
Responsible for the production of office mailings, including mail merges and bulk mailing lists
Responsible for the inventory of all office materials
Work with the Director of Advancement to ensure budget adherence and planning
Collaborate with other departments, divisions, and administrators to staff school functions and events
Other duties and special projects, as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent computer skills, including high proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge software preferred
High level of integrity and a strong work ethic
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Discretion in dealing with confidential information

Compensation & Benefits Bancroft School offers a competitive salary range for this position, determined by the scope of responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational considerations. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, skills, expertise, and internal equity. Final salary details, along with a comprehensive benefits package, will be provided upon an employment offer.
