Hannah Senesh Community Day School (The Senesh School), a progressive, independent K-8 Jewish school in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time, Remote Marketing & Communications Associate to support our communications efforts. The start date is August 1, 2025. This role requires 10–12 hours of work per week. The salary for this part-time position is $15,000, commensurate with experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a thought partner to the Director of Marketing and Communications by sharing observations, generating ideas, and helping systems run smoothly
- Draft and send select school communications, including School News, event invitations, and reminders using Constant Contact
- Help ensure email lists are accurate and up to date
- Submit school events to community calendars and local listings
- Help promote school events by preparing and sharing basic information in various channels
- Make basic updates to the school website (e.g., adding events, updating content, posting job listings)
- Post job openings to relevant hiring websites and platforms
- Provide general communications and administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable using email platforms (e.g., Constant Contact), online forms, and basic social media tools
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Canva a plus
