Early Childhood Teacher
Early childhood curriculum is play-based incorporating project-based learning. Teachers create integrated units of study that draw out children’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder and help them develop schema and skills to understand their world. Teachers in early childhood classrooms are keen observers of young children and strive to meet children where they are in their development. This is a co-teaching position, and teachers collaborate in planning and implementing curriculum, and reflecting on their practice.
