Long Term Substitute Teacher - Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Sidwell Friends, a coeducational Quaker day school with campuses located in Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD, seeks a long-term substitute for Upper School Mathematics for the first semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher of mathematics in a high school setting, and should be prepared to teach all levels of high school mathematics. The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and to establish meaningful relationships with students from diverse backgrounds. The most desirable candidates will also be able to demonstrate proficiency using digital and online platforms for remote instruction as well as proven effectiveness as a classroom teacher in a brick-and-mortar setting.
