History Teacher
Walnut Hill School for the Arts seeks a full-time faculty member to join the Humanities department to teach US History and Modern World History for the 2021-2022 academic year starting in mid-August 2021. This is a full-time academic year position reporting to the Head of Humanities. The Humanities program aims to teach skills and habits of attention, critical thinking, intellectual persistence, and reflection through careful reading and writing in the study of history and literature. In teaching these skills and habits the department plays a central role in students' education as artists, as intellectuals, and as engaged citizens.
