Millbrook School seeks a ceramics teacher for the 25-26 academic year. Candidates should have the following technical experience: Loading and firing electric and gas kilns and an interest in learning traditional wood-firing techniques Mixing glazes from dry materials Recycling clay Experience with the following techniques: hand-building, slab and coil construction, wheel-throwing, mold-making, and slip-casting Ceramics students at Millbrook create both functional ware and sculptural forms.
