Special Education Teacher
Job Summary: The special education teacher designs and implements individualized education programs for students with autism, ages TK–22, in a non-public school setting under the direction of the Director. This role includes assessment, supervision, and program planning; monitoring and evaluating student progress toward IEP goals and reduction of problem behavior; and identifying and developing instructional materials and protocols that promote skill acquisition, student success, and independence in the school environment. The teacher utilizes a variety of teaching methodologies grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis and positive programming and works collaboratively with the entire campus team to support an effective, rewarding experience for both students
