Position:Director of the Halo Fund (Annual Giving)

School Summary All Saints Academy was founded in 1966 as St. Paul's Episcopal Parish School under Father Gilbertson and Father Sturrup of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church. The school did not adopt its current name until 1993, when the middle and upper school portions of the facility were added, extending the grades served to grade twelve.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, twelve-month position. Limited travel and occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
All Saints Academy seeks a mission-driven and results-oriented Director of Halo Fund to lead and grow a robust and sustainable annual giving program. This key advancement team member will be responsible for the strategic development, execution, and management of all aspects of the Halo Fund, the school’s primary annual fundraising effort. The Director will play a central role in building a culture of philanthropy across the ASA community, driving participation, strengthening donor relationships, and securing financial support to advance the school’s mission.
Design and implement a comprehensive, mission-aligned annual fund strategy that supports the school’s strategic goals and fosters a culture of giving.
Strengthen and expand a sustainable annual giving program that encourages participation from all segments of the community—including parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty/staff, and friends.
Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors through in-person visits, phone outreach, handwritten notes, and regular stewardship communications.
Personally solicit gifts and equip school leadership, the Board, and leadership volunteers with the tools and messaging to do the same.
Plan and execute the annual Halo Fund campaign, including kickoff events and community-wide appeals that celebrate the mission and impact of All Saints Academy.
Partner with the Director of Development to set realistic and aspirational annual fund goals based on giving history, school needs, and donor capacity.
Develop an annual fund calendar with clearly defined strategies, milestones, and engagement opportunities.
Identify donors with potential for increased giving and help cultivate them toward leadership-level gifts and long-term engagement.
Collaborate with the Head of School, Alumni and Donor Coordinator, and Director of Development to ensure thoughtful donor stewardship and pipeline development.
Analyze giving data and trends to guide decisions and personalize donor engagement efforts.
Coordinate all annual fund communications, working closely with the marketing and communications team to craft messages that reflect the school’s values, Episcopal identity, and community impact.
Create and manage donor-centered materials, including appeal letters, emails, social media content, web updates, and donor stories.
Plan donor appreciation events and ensure timely acknowledgment and recognition of all gifts.
Produce regular reports on fundraising progress, donor participation, and campaign performance using Raiser’s Edge.
Ensure accurate data entry, gift tracking, and reporting in collaboration with the business office.
Support the development of the annual report on philanthropy and other stewardship publications.
Recruit, train, and support parent ambassadors and volunteers to help extend the reach and voice of the campaign.
Work collaboratively across departments—especially with faculty, admissions, and school leadership—to identify donor prospects and communicate the impact of giving.
Stay informed about trends and best practices in independent school fundraising, especially within faith-based and emerging programs.
Serve as a visible and enthusiastic representative of the school’s mission at events and within the broader community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
A minimum of three years of development experience is preferred with demonstrated skills in direct, in-person solicitations.
Proven success at networking and relationship building.
Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or relational database experience is preferred.
Ability to write, proofread, and edit copy.
Ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty, administrators, parents, alumni, and guests.
Professional written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
High degree of cultural competence and demonstrated commitment to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects efficiently and effectively without constant supervision.
Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
Assume other responsibilities as requested by the Head of School, including but not limited to the work assigned in executing the Strategic Plan.
