Harvard-Westlake School seeks an exceptional and highly qualified educator to join the English Department as a full-time Middle School English Teacher for the 2026–27 school year. The position begins in August 2026. Harvard-Westlake’s Middle School includes grades 7, 8, and 9. Candidates should have the interest, flexibility, and capacity to teach across all three grade levels. English teachers design and lead inquiry-driven explorations of English and World Literature, guide students through the process of composing, revising, and refining analytical writing, and support students in developing clear, thoughtful, and expressive spoken and written language.
