Mason Preparatory is an independent Pre K-8th school dedicated to educating the whole child through strong relationships, academic excellence, and an engaging, student-centered learning environment. We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood educator to join our collaborative and supportive faculty team.
Position Details:
Title: Early Childhood Teacher
Classification: Exempt (Salary)
Reports to: Head of School
Schedule: Schedule: Full-Time; 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for school events.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
State teacher certification required
Proficient knowledge of curriculum and effective instructional practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Head of School, Early Childhood Teachers will:
Provide high-quality classroom instruction that meets or exceeds South Carolina state standards while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Plan and deliver creative, multi-sensory lessons (kinesthetic, tactile, auditory, and visual).
Maintain clear and professional communication with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.
Implement discipline policies with fairness and consistency.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Actively participate in school life, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Comply with all Mason Preparatory School policies and procedures as outlined in faculty, student, and employee handbooks.
