Position Overview:
We're on the lookout for a compassionate, responsible individual to join our Residential Life team as a Dormitory Staff Member. This role is perfect for someone who loves to make a difference in young people's lives by creating a nurturing, home-like environment. You'll be the go-to person for about 20-30 international students, helping them navigate daily life, ensuring their safety, and contributing to their personal growth. This position is a part time shift suitable for those working or attending school, and includes full room and board.
Key Responsibilities:
· Foster a positive living and learning atmosphere.
· Supervise and support students outside classroom hours.
· Organize and implement engaging weekend activities.
· Ensure the dormitory remains a clean, safe space.
· Act as a liaison between students, families, and the school community.
· Supervise and support residents in the dormitory, ensuring adherence to community standards and policies.
· Organize and facilitate educational programs, workshops, and events that promote personal growth and academic success.
· Serve as a mentor and resource for students, providing guidance on academic and personal matters.
· Collaborate with university staff to address student needs and concerns effectively.
· Maintain open lines of communication with residents to foster a sense of community and belonging.
· Assist in the administration of dormitory operations, including conflict resolution and emergency response procedures.

Who We're Looking For:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· A nurturing spirit with a high degree of responsibility.
· A current driver’s license.
· Experience with residential life or high school students (preferred).
· Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (a plus).
