National Cathedral School seeks an enthusiastic professional who believes in the power of young women and is eager to advance that mission within our Development Office. Reporting to the Director of Development Operations, the Development Coordinator is an integral part of the Development program. The coordinator represents the Development Office as the first point of contact for general inquiries, ensures the timely processing of gifts and tax receipts, monitors data health, and provides event logistics support. Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience
Responsibilities include:
Owns all activities related to the processing of gifts, including timely gift processing and tax receipting, dissemination of pledge reminders, and maintenance of outside accounts used for giving.
Performs regular data entry and data auditing to ensure the ongoing integrity of our constituent and donor records.
Provides the first response to Development inquiries, tracking items as appropriate. Provides triage for incoming Development team communication and, when possible, direct resolution, in cooperation with colleagues and appropriate program managers.
Provides event support for Development and select school-wide events, including configuring event settings in the CRM, on-site logistics prep, assembling materials, and producing nametags.
Reconciles monthly credit card charges with the Business Office.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary and Benefits:
The full-time budgeted salary for this position is $52,000. The exact salary is determined based on experience. Benefits available include medical, dental, life insurance, retirement plan with a school contribution, free parking or transit benefits, and lunch without charge, as well as support for professional development experiences. Additional stipends are available for coaching middle or upper school sports.
