Mathematics Teacher

Notre Dame High School in Belmont (NDB) is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and resourceful Mathematics Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate should be proficient in all areas of mathematics, from Algebra I through AP Calculus. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for fostering students' academic growth and will also guide them in social, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Dean of Science and Mathematics.

Salary scale reflects the guidelines set forth by Notre Dame High School.  Salary is based on education and years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, Mathematics preferred
• California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics
• Master's Degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education preferred
• Experience teaching Math at all high school levels, College preparatory through AP
• Proficient in all areas: Algebra I through AP Calculus
• Three years of teaching experience with adolescents, High School Experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire in a classroom setting
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills 
• Passion for Catholic secondary women’s education
• Experience teaching in a block schedule preferred
