About the Position The Assistant Head of School for Finance and Strategy is a highly strategic, hands-on leadership role that sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and institutional planning. Reporting directly to the Head of School, this leader will oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, while also guiding operational priorities that support the school’s sustainability and growth.
In a school of this size and complexity, the role requires both strategic vision and executional fluency. The Assistant Head will serve as a key thought partner to the Head of School and Board, helping translate mission into a financially viable and operationally sound roadmap. This includes oversight of financial systems, vendor relationships, and key operational functions, as well as contributing to enrollment and advancement strategy through a financial lens.
