For the 2026-27 school year, the Seven Hills School seeks a dynamic, innovative individual committed to teaching the whole child for a 4th-grade opening at the Lotspeich Lower School. Candidates should be eager to work in a collaborative, team-based environment with thoughtful, experienced colleagues committed to engaging teaching and learning.
In the Lotspeich Lower School, two homeroom teachers at each grade level work closely together in planning and teaching. For the 26-27 school year, this position will focus on teaching Language Arts and social studies, and for the 27-28 school year, this classroom will become self-contained. The homeroom teachers also work closely with science, art, music, drama, physical education, Spanish, and library subject specialists.

Qualifications
All candidates must have:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; a master’s degree is preferred.
Three or more years of teaching experience at the elementary level (K - 5).
The Seven Hills School is a nonsectarian, co-educational day school in Cincinnati, Ohio. The largest non-church-affiliated independent school in Ohio, Seven Hills enrolls 1,016 students throughout the system, with 437 in our elementary division, 239 in middle and 340 in upper. Traditionally, 100% of our graduating class attends four-year colleges; the mid-range of SAT scores for graduating seniors is 1810 - 2120, and traditionally 75% of the class are recognized as AP Scholars.
