High Point Friends School (HPFS) is an independent Quaker school in High Point, North Carolina, serving approximately 100 students from ages 2 through eighth grade. Founded in 1963, the school is committed to welcoming students from diverse backgrounds and educating the whole child in the Quaker tradition.
The campus features a library, a gymnasium with rock-climbing walls, and plenty of outdoor space for athletics and experiential learning. HPFS fosters a culture of inclusion, critical thinking, service, and environmental stewardship.
HPFS is seeking Science and Environmental Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years teaching experience with an active teaching license. Candidates should believe in the inherent goodness of children and aspire to make class academically rigorous and joyful. Faculty should embrace Quaker values, known as the SPICES. (Simplicity.
