Position Summary: The Associate Director of Admissions participates in all facets and phases of the admission process. Prior experience in an Admissions Office is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is required.
The ideal candidate will be:

proficient in Kent School technologies (Google Suite, Veracross, etc.);
dedicated to making positive contributions to the student experience in dorms, on teams and clubs, and through advising.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Representing the school accurately and compellingly to prospective students and parents, educational consultants, partner schools, and other important constituencies;
Extensive domestic and occasional international travel;
Interviewing applicants and families, and providing a detailed report to the Admission Committee;
Communicating with prospective families in a polite, systematic, timely, and efficient manner;
Developing and fostering relationships with school administrators and teachers to effectively communicate enrollment efforts;
Assisting the Director of Admissions with institutional research needs, including the collection and analysis of relevant data;
Becoming proficient in the use of technology to manage office recordkeeping and correspondence;
Assisting the Director with all publication and marketing materials;
Working in concert with the Director of Admissions on a variety of scheduled admissions events, including Open Houses and Admission Receptions;
Maintaining an accurate record of travel and admission-related expenses;
Coaching two seasons of interscholastic sports or an equivalent (usually three seasons) of co-curricular activities;
Performing regular duty in our residential program;
Participating in Faculty committees;
Serving as Advisor to 5-7 students;
Maintaining a Public Passenger Endorsement to drive a school vehicle for school activities.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment criminal background checks and drug test;
Maintaining punctual and regular attendance;
Work is performed on a smoke-free campus.
