Eagle Hill School, an independent boarding school in Hardwick, Massachusetts, seeks a mathematics teacher to join the faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will hold a degree in mathematics and demonstrate an innovative approach to curriculum design and instruction. The position will include responsibility for teaching a variety of levels of high school mathematics. Eagle Hill School seeks educators who are eager to participate in the academic, athletic, and co-curricular activities of an innovative and engaging boarding school community.

In addition to teaching duties, modest evening and weekend duties (e.g., advising a club or activity, coaching, supervision of shared spaces) are required of all academic and student life faculty.
Responsibilities:
Use a variety of instructional strategies to motivate and inspire students in mathematics.
Use a mathematics curriculum to teach content that may include – Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance student learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to continually revise and implement the curriculum to adjust to diverse learners.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress.
Engage in the boarding school community and co-curricular programs as well as provide inspirational and innovative education in the classroom setting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in mathematics.
Readiness to teach all levels of mathematics.
Support students as they solve problems and think critically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
