Are you passionate about inspiring young, gifted learners and designing creative, hands-on learning experiences?
We are seeking a full-time Kindergarten Teacher to join our Lower School team and help cultivate curiosity, independence, and a love of learning from the very start of a child’s school journey. At Sage, we empower students to explore big ideas through project-based, interdisciplinary learning, hands-on activities, and differentiated instruction that meets the needs of gifted learners. Our Kindergarten program values independence, creativity, and critical thinking, encouraging both students and teachers to be lifelong learners.
The Sage School is an Early Childhood through Grade 8 school enrolling 150 students in Foxboro, MA. Sage, a school for gifted and talented students, is committed to providing advanced academics to students from the greater Boston and Providence areas and beyond. What You’ll Do:
Independently plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that integrate project-based learning and hands-on experiences.
Support the development of foundational literacy, including multisensory literacy instruction, and be open to ongoing professional training in this area.
Foster a nurturing, collaborative classroom culture that encourages curiosity, independence, and respectful engagement.
Collaborate with specialists in Spanish, computer science, arts, music, and physical education to provide an integrated learning experience.
Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to students and families.
Participate in school events, curriculum development, and extracurricular programs.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, or a related field, required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience teaching or working with children in Kindergarten or early elementary settings preferred.
Familiarity with project-based, hands-on, and multisensory learning approaches.
Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of gifted and diverse learners.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A collaborative mindset and a commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.
Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
A warm, patient, and flexible approach, with a genuine passion for fostering curiosity and independence in young learners.
