The Science Department at The Episcopal Academy seeks an Upper School Physics teacher to join its vibrant 18-member department. This educator will primarily teach Physics and related courses; the ability to teach Chemistry, Environmental Science, and/or Biology will strengthen a candidate's application.

This is an exciting moment in the department's development, with a newly revised and evolving curriculum, expanding investment in environmental science, and emerging industry and community partnerships.
What You Will Do
Faculty at The Episcopal Academy contribute broadly to the life of the school. Responsibilities include:
Teaching four sections of lab-based upper school science, with an emphasis on Physics, including AP Physics C
Advising a small group of upper school students
Participating actively in the life of the school through advising, coaching, and/or supervising activities

Experience developing science curriculum and lesson plans that reflect diverse perspectives and voices
Willingness to learn Canvas, Google Workspace, and other science-specific instructional tools
Robotics experience is considered an asset
