Trinity Episcopal School is an early childhood through Eighth Grade co-educational school located in the Garden District of New Orleans. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Physical Education teacher to begin in the fall of 2026 who is passionate about student development, wellness, and building a strong, cohesive program. This employee would teach students in early childhood through Eighth Grade. Candidates must be willing to coach sports teams throughout the school year.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of effective Physical Education instruction, a commitment to fostering lifelong fitness habits, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues to strengthen and expand our program. Over time, this individual will take on increasing leadership responsibilities, with the goal of guiding the vision and direction of the P.E. department.

Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in the area of Physical Education or other related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Previous physical education experience is required in elementary or middle school grades; independent school experience and/or certification strongly preferred. Coaching experience is also preferred.
