We are seeking an exceptional Lead Teacher for our Twos program to join our team of Early Childhood Educators. The ideal candidate will excel in the following areas: child engagement and interaction, classroom observations and documentation, curriculum development, and engagement with families. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining the school’s safety standards; preparing and caring for the classroom environment; and engaging in professional dialogue with colleagues. A sense of humor is a plus. This is a part-time position for a Twos class held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Hours are flexible, but the candidate must work: T, W, Th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and Fridays from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Additional hours may be available.
Master’s degree in early childhood education
NYS Certification or a plan to obtain certification
At least two years of experience working in an early childhood program with two-year-olds as a Lead or Co-lead Teacher
