A DAY IN THE LIFE
Plan and deliver targeted Language and Cognitive Development instruction to multiple classes of six to eight students in K - 5th grade with learning differences
Determine, administer, and communicate new student assessments with teachers and families
Communicate as an integral member of the team with colleagues and parents to provide an exceptional experience for all families
Engage in the continuous pursuit of lifelong personal and professional development and reflection
Observe, analyze, and pivot based on the needs of kids
Record, synthesize, and report progress in both formal and informal ways
Provide support to kids in the form of social coaching during lunch and recess
Have fun teaching and learning - must love kids of all ages
Requirements:
Experience teaching/practicing in a relevant classroom setting required
Masters Degree required from a CAA-accredited program
Pay is competitive with surrounding districts
