We're a second-year independent school serving twice-exceptional students in grades 5-12, and we're looking for someone to lead our enrollment efforts with authenticity and purpose.
About This Role
You'll be joining our small administrative team and working closely with a committed Board that values thoughtful growth over rapid expansion. We move "at the speed of trust" here—which means we prioritize authentic relationships over quick wins. This is a senior leadership position where you'll develop and implement enrollment strategies that genuinely reflect who we are and who we serve.
Start date is flexible no later than July 1st.
What You'll Do
Develop enrollment processes that honor the complexity of 2e learners and their families
Create honest, clear messaging about what we offer (and what we don't)
Build sustainable systems for recruitment, admissions, and retention
Partner with families through the enrollment journey with transparency and care
Use data thoughtfully to inform decisions while keeping human connections at the center
Work collaboratively with faculty and staff who deeply understand our students' needs
Who You Are
Someone who values authentic communication over polished marketing speak
Comfortable with the iterative nature of building something meaningful
Able to balance optimism with realism when speaking with families
Skilled at creating systems while maintaining flexibility
Experienced in admissions or enrollment (3-5+ years preferred) or relevant experiences
Aligned with neurodiversity-affirming practices
Why This Work Matters
Our students are brilliant and complex. They've often experienced school as something being "done to them" rather than with them. We're creating a different path—one where integrated support, flexible learning, and genuine belonging help these students rediscover their love of learning.
This isn't about being everything to everyone. It's about being the right fit for students who need what we uniquely offer.

The mission of Trillium Academy is to break away from conventional schooling and celebrate the incredible capabilities of twice-exceptional (2e) students, providing them with the learning environment they need to discover and develop their talents and passions to live successful and enriching lives.
Trillium Academy was founded by a dedicated group of parents with a vision to create a nurturing environment for 2e students in Seattle. Here, students are celebrated for their unique skills and interests and seen as capable individuals with much to contribute to the school community and the world. We value authenticity, positive self-awareness, open and honest communication, and trust built on the belief that everyone has the students’ best interest at the heart of what we do.
Our school is designed to cater to the needs of our students, recognizing their exceptional talents alongside their learning differences. With teacher:student ratios lower than typical private and public schools and a focus on fostering positive relationships, we create an environment where students can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a place for students to learn how to be productive, independent, civic-minded adults.
