Eagle Hill School, an independent boarding school in Hardwick, Massachusetts, seeks a teacher of English to join the faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will hold a degree in English or education and demonstrate an innovative approach to curriculum design and instruction. Responsibilities:
Teaching writing courses with focuses on process, multimodality, genre, and rhetorical analysis; teaching literature with a focus on literary analysis.
Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance student learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to continually revise and implement the curriculum to adjust to diverse learners.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress.
Engage in the boarding school community and co-curricular programs as well as provide inspirational and innovative education in the classroom setting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
Readiness to teach all levels of English.
Support students as they solve problems and think critically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Relevant experience preferred.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
