Woodside Priory seeks a dynamic Theology teacher with passion and good zeal to advance its mission of forming students who are reflective, compassionate, and committed to serving a world in need of their gifts. Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and animated by the Benedictine charism, this role calls for an educator who understands teaching as both an academic and formative act grounded in relationship.
Inspired by the Rule of St. Benedict, the Theology program begins with the call to listen—cultivating attentiveness to God, to one another, and to the realities of the world. Within a diverse and intellectually ambitious community, the teacher invites students into rigorous engagement with Scripture, doctrine, ethics, and Catholic Social Teaching while fostering habits of reflection, humility, and dialogue. In doing so, the teacher helps create a classroom and community where each student is known, challenged, and called toward a deeper sense of purpose, responsibility, and imagination.
